1st game, 1st win!
An ugly win: 12-00.
We struggle in offense (3 fumbles, 1 INT). We've been overwhelmed in pass pro and awful with our blitz-pick up (sacked 10 times)...
We scored on our first play from scrimage (fly sweep) and missed the XPT. Then early in the 4th we score on Sally/Sarah... 2pt conversion failed...
We have a lot of work to do still.
We are a rebuilding program (35man roster) with freshmen starting at OG and HB. So basically we did not know where we're going... And I'm still not sure. Our opponents were bad, and my starting FB was hurt badly...
Next game: 22th november

2nd Game, 2nd Win!
55-00
We played the (probably) weakest team of our League.
Our defense has not allowed a single point in 8 quarters for the first time in team history! D forced and recovered 1 fumble, recorded 1 INT and 8 sacks.
We score on every offensive drive (4 on the run, 4 on the air).
I know now that speed can really kills!!!
We needed it.
Next opponent is our archrival. They do not have allowed a signle point too... Hope injured players will be cleared before that big game.

3rd game cancelled sunday because of rain! 3 days of pouring rain...
I cannot say I was upset. Too many skills players were out for this game.
No game untill january!
(Cripes!) Great time to get back to fundamentals!!

We are still undefeated.
3-0.
No points allowed!
After 2 games cancelled because of snow we came up big on sunday against a tough power team in South France.
18-00.
2 rushing TDs, 1 KOR.
Thanks to Abe Mikell's rugby punt we held our opponent to 0 PR yards again!
We need to be more effective on our passing plays -- too many blow opportunities!
And obviously, we need to work on our FG/PAT unit too!

Is the American football season in France settled in this time of year because the players and/or fields are otherwise occupied during times of year when the weather would be more favorable?
Some American colleges and schools in the northern regions have a problem with baseball, fitting it into a portion of the academic calendar when sometimes it's too cold and the ground may be covered by snow, resulting in canceled games.
OTOH there's a rugby tournament in the middle of winter in Wisconsin where I think if there's not snow on the ground, they make it! The field lines are painted on top of the snow. The players wear long pants. At least that was the story when I last heard it.

Actually there's a League Meeting on saturday to talk about next year calendar. We may end up playing during spring as the majority of European countries do...

1st loss of the season. We have been blank at home (00-16).
They beat us physically.
They shut down our sweep and every outside lanes... And as the OC I didn't find answers to their defense...
Tough game, tough loss.

We earn our 4th win this past week-end!
47 – 24.
Another great game by our special teams -- 2 kick offs return for TDs -- 5 out of 7 PAT -- 3 PAT blocked -- 2 punt for 0yd return – 1 fumble recovered -- we only lose one fumble on the game kick off.
The offense played a huge game after being shut down last week. 5 TDs (4run/1air)… But we throw 2 stupid ints (one returned for a TD).
D played well too, 1 INT, 1 FR.
That was really sweet after a 6hours drive to play that game! Players and coaches had a lot of fun!

6th win!
21-12 vs. our crosstown rivals.
Not a great day on both side of the ball... We score on 3 big plays -- thanks to our scatback extraordinaire, 55, 56, 60yards TDs.
Passing game is a mess...
A lot of penalties and "mental errors". A lot of work this week before next game.
On the bright side, special teams work great as we recovered another Punt! That Rugby Punt is killing our opponents week after weeks...

Greatest Game We Ever Played! Victory! 48-32!
A first time saturday night game with some people in the stands (that's quite unusual for us in France) and 2 great teams on the field.
We came up big scoring on every drive but 2 (1 fumble, 1 punt).
I am VERY proud of the way my team handle the whole game.
This season is going to be something special...

Regular season is over (8-2). It has been better that what we though in pre season. The bad thing is we lost our 2 games vs. our archirivals...
Next sunday we'll play first round of playoffs. We haven't won a playoff game since 2005 (one and done curse!).

22-29!
1st playoff win since 2002! It was a very emotional game.
We lead the entire game but they came closed at 2minutes of the end...
We are now heading to the South Conference Semi-finals.

This is the end, my friends...
We cam up short losing 13-7.
After blocking a field goal we had a chance to score but we fumble on their 30.
Tough loss even if we are the underdogs.
Great season with a bunch of great guys.

Good job coach. Sounds like a solid season. I hope to come coach in Europe one season. I have been talking to a team in Sweden about it after I finish college.
